BBS Member Nick Cummins Elected as the President of the Pennsylvania Defense Institute

On June 13, BBS member, Nick Cummins was elected as the President of the Pennsylvania Defense Institute at its Annual Conference in Bedford, Pennsylvania.  PDI is Pennsylvania’s only state-wide civil defense advocacy organization, dedicated to advancing the interests of the civil defense bar in the Commonwealth.  PDI has approximately four hundred members consisting of lawyers, executives, and insurance professionals, and has been serving the defense bar for fifty five years.  Nick plans to continue and extend PDI’s active amicus curiae program, its legislative outreach, and its role as an educator for members of the defense bar.  Nick’s election as the President of PDI follows fifteen years of service in the organization, including previous roles as Treasurer and Executive Vice President on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
