Mr. De Salvo is of counsel with the firm. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar, and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He graduated from St. Peter’s College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1973, and from Vermont Law School in 1977. In his senior year he was a member of the Moot Court Board. Thereafter, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Marilyn Loftus, Judge of the Superior Court, Law Division (1977-1978). Upon completion of his clerkship,
Mr. De Salvo became associated with the firm of Feuerstein, Sachs & Maitlin (1978-1985) where he was responsible for the defense, both at trial and appellate levels, of complex litigation matters including medical, and legal malpractice actions, and other forms of professional liability. Mr. De Salvo became associated with the firm of Amato, Salerno & Lunga where continued to concentrate in the areas of professional liability until joining the firm of Soriano, Henkel, Biehl & Matthews in 1997. He has handled, almost exclusively, the defense of personal injury matter involving automobile claims, premises liability, and similar claims. Additionally, related claims involving uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage.
