Daniel Lengeman is Of Counsel at the firm’s Philadelphia office where he works with the Bad Faith and Insurance Coverage team, as well as on Municipal Liability and Civil Rights claims. He is a Pennsylvania native, graduating with honors from Temple University in 2004. He attended Pepperdine University School of Law, where he was involved with the Dispute Resolution Journal and volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate. After clerking for the Honorable Kathleen Thompson in Bankruptcy Court, he began his career as a prosecutor.

Daniel has held positions throughout Southern California, as a Deputy District Attorney, as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Burbank, and in private practice based in Hollywood. Daniel has conducted dozens of jury trials and hundreds of court hearings, and is comfortable examining witnesses, presenting evidence, and arguing before a judge or a jury. In addition to his expertise in the courtroom, Daniel has an understanding of the needs of cities, counties and municipalities in areas of litigation, risk management, and policy. His private practice focused on defense work in the Central District of California and all Southern California counties.

Daniel has a wide array of trainings, including Accident Reconstruction and Vehicular Homicide Training, and Arson and Explosives Training conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms. He brings his detailed understanding of accident scenes to his insurance practice, and his understanding of police procedure and constitutional law to his municipal law practice.

In 2021 Daniel returned home to Pennsylvania with his family. He passed the Pennsylvania Bar Exam and soon after joined Bennett, Bricklin & Saltzburg, LLC.

In his free time Daniel enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, writing short stories and novels, reading, and the occasional golf and skiing.
