Robert Shaw is a member in the Philadelphia office of Bennett, Bricklin & Saltzburg LLC defending the firm’s clients in personal injury, premise liability, construction and automobile insurance defense. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar and New Jersey Bar. Robert assists his clients with all aspects of a loss, from claims evaluation and investigation through litigation, settlement negotiation, mediation, arbitration and trial. He has vast trial experience including jury trials in the venues of Philadelphia County, Delaware County, Eastern District of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He has earned an AV Preeminent highest attorney peer rating as recognized by Martindale-Hubbell.
Robert obtained his B.S. degree from the University of Scranton in 1997. He then attended Rutgers School of Law in Camden, New Jersey graduating in 2000. He began practicing insurance defense in 2000 and he continues his defense practice in the firm’s Philadelphia office. Robert believes in an aggressive legal defense built upon a team-oriented relationship with the client. He also volunteers to sit as an arbitrator for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
When he is not in the office, Robert enjoys spending time with his family and friends, following Philadelphia sports teams, and skiing.
