Marina is a highly accomplished legal professional and former arbitrator with over 25 years of experience spanning insurance defense, plaintiff’s litigation, and high-volume alternative dispute resolution. Throughout her distinguished career, she established a reputation for excellence in the resolution of complex no-fault disputes.
During her tenure as arbitrator, Marina demonstrated an extraordinary level of productivity and legal acumen, adjudicating between 900 and 1,000 no-fault arbitrations annually. Marina also possesses a formidable background in corporate legal management. Marina served as managing attorney for two large American insurance companies where she became an expert in liability, fraud, and no-fault litigation.
Marina earned her law degree from Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York and was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1998. She is licensed to practice in the United States District Courts for both the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. An Arizona native, Marina earned a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language & Literature from the University of Arizona.
Beyond her legal practice, Marina is a licensed Real Estate Broker and a Notary Public. She is fluent in both spoken and written Spanish, is an active member of the New York State and Nassau County Bar Associations. Marina maintains a passion for the arts as a skilled flautist and vocalist.
