Joseph F. Murphy is an attorney in the firm’s Central Pennsylvania office. Joe obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 1996 from Widener University School of Law where he graduated cum laude and was a member of the law review. Prior to obtaining his degree, Joe worked as a claims representative for several insurance companies where he gained significant experience in defending personal injury and construction claims. As an attorney he has been defending clients in civil actions, including personal injury, products liability, medical and dental malpractice, construction and insurance coverage cases. Joe has achieved notable success in trying civil actions, including more than a hundred jury trials and arbitrations throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He has also lectured to and instructed law students in the art of trial advocacy.
Joe is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court, Middle District of Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He is married with two children and resides in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
