Jim is an active litigator in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York; having defended over 100 jury trials to verdict across the tri-state region. He has been named Super Lawyer® Rising Star [i] in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Jim handles complex insurance matters including defending auto bodily-injury cases ranging from tort threshold to catastrophic losses, defending premises liability matters, analyzing coverage issues, and conducting investigations into insurance fraud. Jim assists his clients with all aspects of a loss, from claims evaluation and investigation through litigation, mediation, settlement negotiation, and trial.

Jim began his legal career as an assistant district attorney in Bucks County. His practice as a prosecutor has influenced his perspective on how a civil case should be defended. He believes that aggressive and thorough discovery tactics are the key to building a defense. At every phase of litigation, Jim is thinking about how what he is doing will shape his closing argument to a jury.

Jim attended college at the University of Pennsylvania and then American University’s Washington College of Law. He lives in Westmont, New Jersey with his wife and daughter.
