Job Summary Full Time Litigation Paralegal – New York, NY

Bennett, Bricklin & Saltzburg LLC is looking for an experienced litigation paralegal in its New York City office. The ideal candidate will have at least three-five years of civil litigation experience. The salary range for this position is $23/hr-$32/hr based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications and Skills:

·         Ability to draft and assemble motions and filings in auto accident liability cases and other litigation cases under the supervision of the assigning attorney;

·         Ability to manage multiple attorneys’ schedules and calendars;

·         Scheduling examinations before trial, setting up IMEs; processing authorizations;

·         Familiarity with e-Courts, NYSCEF, and eLaw;

·         Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;

·         Must be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize and proactively manage a large case load;

·         Ability to work independently;

·         Strong computer skills;

·         Proficient in Microsoft office programs including Word, Excel & PowerPoint;

·         Must be a team player;

·         Case management software experience is a plus.

The firm currently works under a hybrid schedule. This means you will be able to work from home for a portion of your workweek. The details of this schedule will be discussed during the interview process.
