Maya Williams is an Associate at the firm’s Philadelphia office, where she is a member of the workers’ compensation department. 

Maya graduated with a Juris Doctor from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law in 2024. While at Villanova Law, Maya served as the Editor-in-Chief of Villanova’s Environmental Law Journal. Maya also served as the President of Villanova’s Street Law, an organization that works to empower all people with civic and law-related knowledge to shape a more just and equitable society. Additionally, Maya was a Student Attorney in Villanova’s Farmworker Legal Aid Clinic. She represented a Pennsylvania farmworker in an immigration removal proceeding in Philadelphia Immigration Court after managing all aspects of the farmworker’s case. Formerly, Maya worked as a Summer Associate at a premier boutique law firm dedicated to representing the needs of municipalities and business. She also worked as a Judicial Intern for The Honorable Linda Carpenter in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and a Legal Intern for the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission. 

Maya graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Temple University in 2021 where she majored in Sociology. At Temple University, Maya served as the President of Temple’s Public Advocacy Club, which provides students with the opportunity to organize and contribute to social and political progress at Temple and in Philadelphia. She was also a Peer Mentor for Temple’s College of Liberal Arts and Center for Professional Development. She also attended a semester-long study abroad program at the University of Cape Town in Cape Town, South Africa. 

In her spare time, Maya enjoys music and art, growing plants, taking a one second video every day, and visiting her friends and family where she grew up in New York.
