Liz Ontko joined Bennett, Bricklin & Salzburg LLC in August 2025 as Of Counsel.
Proudly born and raised in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Liz graduated from King’s College in 1993 where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Spanish, magna cum laude. During her senior year in college, Liz served as an legal intern for Correale F. Stevens, former Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas Judge and Pennsylvania Superior Court Judge Emeritus. In 1996, she obtained her J.D. from Widener University School of Law, Harrisburg, where she was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. During her second and third years of law school, Liz served as a law clerk for Handler, Henning & Rosenberg, LLP.
After graduating from law school, Liz began her career as an associate plaintiffs’ personal injury attorney. In 2002, she transitioned to the role of Assistant Director of Publications for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.
In 2018, Liz began working as a trial attorney for Allstate Insurance Company defending third and first party claims, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and uninsured and underinsured motorist claims. She has handled matters at all phases of litigation, from inception through trial. In 2019, Liz was promoted to Senior Trial Attorney and in 2023, she was promoted to Senior Litigation Counsel for Allstate Insurance Company.
Liz is married and lives in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. She has a son, Noah, and two daughters, Emily and Hanna. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, swimming, spending time with family and her beloved English Labrador Retriever, Sage.
