Vikas Bowry is an associate with the firm’s Special Investigations and Fraud team, and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
Vikas graduated from Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, British Columbia, with a B.A. in Criminology. In 2011 Vikas made the move to the United States and attended the Widener School of Law, obtaining his Juris Doctor in 2014. While in law school, Vikas was an intern at the Widener Law Veterans Clinic as well as the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas, Criminal Division. Upon graduation with Pro Bono Distinction, Vikas served as a Judicial Fellow for the Honorable Lisette Shirdan-Harris, and a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Edward Wright. Both positions were in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, Criminal Division.
Prior to joining Bennett, Bricklin & Saltzburg LLC, Vikas was an Assistant City Solicitor for the Philadelphia Law Department, Child Welfare Unit. In his capacity as an Assistant City Solicitor, Vikas litigated numerous cases regarding abused and neglected children in Philadelphia.
In his free time, Vikas enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants, traveling and staying physically active.
