Kathleen Carmen is of counsel at Bennett, Bricklin & Saltzburg LLC and works out of the West Chester office. She focuses her practice on uninsured and underinsured motorist claims and is on the automobile liability team.
Kathleen received her undergraduate degree from Temple University, majoring in Political Science and History. She graduated Summa Cum Laude, was a President Scholar and elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She obtained her Juris Doctorate Degree from Temple University School of Law in 1983 and is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
While attending undergraduate school and law school full-time, Kathleen was also employed full-time at Conrail. Upon graduation from law school, she joined the Law Offices of Sidney W. Bookbinder in New Jersey before coming to Pennsylvania and joining an insurance defense firm in Media. In 1989, Kathleen was a co-founder of the law firm of Murphy & Carmen, where she practiced insurance defense work and an array of various litigation including automobile liability, underinsured and uninsured motorist, products liability, contract disputes and medical malpractice.
Kathleen lives in West Chester and in her free time enjoys spending time with her family and friends, golfing, cooking, swimming, visiting the Jersey shore and watching football and baseball.
