Joseph M. Morelli is an Of Counsel attorney in the frrm’s Pittsburgh office. He received his undergraduate degree from Washington & Jefferson College and earned his Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law in 1995. Joe is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and the federal court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and Beaver County Bar Association where he sits on the Civil Rules Committee.
After graduating from law school, Joe served a one year internship in the Beaver County Court of Common Pleas before accepting a position with an insurance defense firm in Pittsburgh. His caseload included third party liability, uninsured and underinsured motorist claims, declaratory judgment, fraudulent claims investigations, and commercial carrier and plaintiff personal injury cases. Joe opened his own office in Beaver County in 2007 and handled cases involving all facets of the MVFRL for a large insurance carrier. As a sole practitioner, his practice expanded to include liquor liability defense, plaintiff personal injury, real estate title, small business consultation and estate planning work. Additionally, Joe served in the US Army Reserves as a Judge Advocate General and Trial Defense Services attorney for more than ten years.
Joe is married to his wife Nicole and they have two daughters. Joe enjoys coaching and watching youth softball, soccer, basketball and tennis. He is also an avid golfer, reader and cook.
