Jason Harmon is an experienced trial attorney who defends the firm’s clients in an array of personal injury matters with primary emphasis on automobile related injury claims. Jason began his legal career in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office, and now brings his trial advocacy skills to Bennett Bricklin & Saltzburg. Jason graduated summa cum laude from Lincoln University in 2006 with a B.A. in Political Science. At Lincoln University, he was the president of the political science honor society and served as the secretary for his fraternity, Alpha Phi Alpha, Inc.
Jason graduated from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law where he was a member of the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition team. While in law school, he served on the Temple University Disciplinary Board and was the treasurer for the Black Law Students Association Executive Board.
After law school, Jason worked at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office, primarily in East Division to prosecute crimes that occurred in parts of North Philadelphia. He was responsible for prosecuting non-fatal shootings, gun-point robberies, attempted murder and cases involving large amounts of narcotics. Jason also handled investigations and prosecutions arising out of the Philadelphia Indicting Grand Jury with a focus on cases involving sensitive information and victim or witness intimidation. Prior to leaving the District Attorney’s office, Jason served as the Assistant Chief of the Diversion Courts Unit. He supervised prosecutors, support staff and oversaw more than 20 different diversionary or re-entry programs aimed at reducing recidivism without some of the consequences of a criminal conviction.
Jason is a proud member of the Barrister’s Association of Philadelphia. Originally from Largo, Maryland, Jason has embraced Philadelphia and currently resides in the East Falls section of the City.
