Yolanda Konopacka DeSipio was born in Poland and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She received her B.S. degree from La Salle University in 1987 and her J.D.
from Temple University Law School in 1991. While attending Temple Law School
evening program, Yolanda worked in the legal field and interned for the Honorable
I. Raymond Kremer of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
Yolanda is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania
and New Jersey. She is also a member of the Philadelphia and Bucks County Bar
Associations, and the Jagellonian Law Society. Over the years, she has litigated
jury trials, bench trials and arbitrations involving insurance bad faith, product
liability and personal injury.
Yolanda joined Bennett, Bricklin & Saltzburg LLP as of counsel in 2007.
As a member of the firm’s insurance coverage and bad faith team, Yolanda
defends insurer bad faith claims. Also, she heads the immigration section at
the firm handling cases for individuals and companies involving visa extensions,
deportation, change of status to permanent residence (green card) and naturalization.
Yolanda has presented seminars on bad faith, homeowners insurance, immigration
law and has participated in legal clinics, immigration seminars and radio program
presentations on various legal topics. Speaking Polish fluently, she is very involved in the Polish/American community and has an office located in Port Richmond to provide legal services.
