Samantha K.
Lloyd is an associate with the
firm's Special Investigations and
Fraud Team in the Philadelphia
office. She is a member of the
Pennsylvania Bar and New Jersey Bar.
Sam graduated
from Brown University in 2007 with a
degree in Business Economics. While
at Brown, Sam was a captain,
Regional All-American, and All-Ivy
member of the field hockey team. She
spent two undergraduate summers
clerking for the Honorable Hugh F.
Mundy of the Luzerne County Court of
Common Pleas. She also spent a
summer interning for the Rhode
Island Attorney General’s office as
part of the extradition unit.
Prior
to joining the firm, Sam clerked for
the Honorable Albert John Snite Jr.
in the Philadelphia Court of Common
Pleas.
After graduation,
Sam enrolled at Villanova University
School of Law, obtaining her Juris
Doctor in the Spring of 2010. While
in law school, Sam was a member of
Villanova’s Trial Advocacy Team and
participated in a number of
competitions.
After her first
year of law school, Sam served as a
law clerk at a litigation firm near
her hometown of Shavertown,
Pennsylvania. Following her second
year at Villanova, Sam worked as a
law clerk at a litigation firm in
Philadelphia. Additionally, she
worked as a certified student
attorney in the Villanova Civil
Justice Clinic where she represented
clients in a variety of custody and
property matters. While attending
law school, Sam also served as the
head coach for Haverford High
School’s varsity field hockey team,
leading the
team to a berth in the state
tournament in 2010.
When she’s not in
the office, Sam enjoys spending time
with her family and friends, playing
soccer, water skiing, and coaching
field hockey.
