heads the firm’s Bad Faith and Insurance Coverage team. Pam also leads as chairwoman of the firm's Diversity Committee. Pam received her Juris Doctor from Temple University School of Law in 1989, where she was also a member of the school’s Moot Court Team.
Prior to joining the firm in January of 1993, Pam worked as an Assistant District Attorney for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office in the Major Jury Trial Division, where she tried numerous criminal matters to verdict . Upon joining the firm, Pam became active in the defense of general liability matters with a particular focus on premises liability and intentional torts. Using her past experience, Pam also investigated, defended against and prosecuted SIU matters involving fraudulent and collusive claims. With her memebership in 1997, she immediately assumed the position of chair of the SIU team. While continuing to serve as chair of the SIU team, Pam began to become involved in the defense of bad faith matters. Due to the magnitude of the developments in bad faith law, Pam relinquished her position as chair of the SIU team and joined the firm’s bad faith team on a full-time basis in 2004. Although most of her practice is devoted to bad faith and coverage work, when requested, Pam also continues to represent insurers in SIU claims and litigate complex casualty matters.
As a result of her diverse litigation experience, Pam has also presented numerous seminars and lectured in the areas of premises liability, SIU investigation and file handling and bad faith.
In her practice, Pam has participated in the defense of a number of cases involving complex discovery practice and issues in both the federal and state courts. Through that experience she has developed an extensive investigative and expert resource network. Moreover, Pam's professionalism, thoroughness and responsiveness have produced not only favorable results, but also strengthened relationships with several clients and brought others to the firm for the first time.
Outside of the office, Pam enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, extended family and friends. She enjoys cooking, entertaining, music and traveling to anywhere she can bicycle on the beach.
