Harsha Kurpad is an associate at Bennett, Bricklin & Saltzburg LLC who
defends insurers from bad faith claims and also represents insurers in
subrogation claims from the firm's Blue Bell office. He is licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Harsha graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in 1999.
While at Penn State, he studied biochemistry and molecular biology with a
minor in history. After graduation, Harsha attended graduate school at the
Johns Hopkins School of Medicine where he received his M.A in human genetics
and molecular biology in 2002. After receiving his Master's degree, Harsha
worked in a research lab at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia
investigating RNA interference.
Harsha then attended Villanova University School of Law graduating with his
J.D. in 2007. During his second year, Harsha worked as a judicial extern for
the Honorable Robert J. Shenkin in the Chester County Court of Common Pleas.
Throughout his second and third years of law school, Harsha worked for a
family law firm in Norristown, PA. Additionally, in his third year, he
served as a certified student attorney in the Villanova Farm Worker Legal
Aid clinic.
In his free time, Harsha enjoys spending time with his family and friends
and rooting for local sports teams as well as Penn State football.
