Catherine T. Begley is an associate in the firm’s Philadelphia office where she focuses her practice on bad faith and coverage. Prior to joining the firm, Catherine served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Paul Innes, P.J.Ch. of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Mercer Vicinage.
Catherine received her Juris Doctor degree from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law. While attending law school, Catherine was a civil litigation clinical intern at the City of Philadelphia Law Department, where she helped defend the City against tort claims through motion practice and arbitration. Catherine also took part in a mediation clinic at the Philadelphia Municipal Court, where she mediated housing and small claims disputes. Within the Temple Law community, Catherine was a teaching assistant for Introduction to Transactional Skills and the Integrated Transactional Program. She was the special events chair of the Women’s Law Caucus and a member of the International Law Society and the Student Public Interest Network. At graduation, Catherine was awarded the Albert H. Friedman Prize for outstanding performance on the production of a research paper. It concerned the Dodd Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act and the regulation of proprietary trading.
Catherine received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in English, Spanish, and Global & International Studies from the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State. During her time at Penn State, Catherine attended every home football game and studied abroad in London, England and Seville, Spain. In her free time, Catherine enjoys theater, exercise, travel, and reading.
