Andrew L. Blacker is an associate with the special investigations and fraud team in the Philadelphia office of Bennett, Bricklin & Saltzburg LLC. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars.
Prior to joining the firm, Drew served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Major Trials Division of the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. During his four years, he was responsible for prosecuting a wide array of felony jury and waiver trials, ranging from attempted murder, non-fatal shootings and firearms offenses to complex narcotics investigations. His extensive litigation experience also included leading investigations from inception utilizing the Philadelphia Indicting Grand Jury for cases involving witness intimidation.
Drew received his law degree from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law. While in law school, he worked as a certified legal intern with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office and Temple Legal Aid office. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland where he received his B.S. in Criminology & Criminal Justice. Drew was a member of the university’s rugby team and studied abroad at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia during the summer of his junior year.
Outside of work, Drew is an ardent supporter of the Kyle Ambrogi Foundation and the Breathing Room Foundation.
